Ashish Singhal is Chief Executive Officer of IBDIC, the Indian Banks' Digital Infrastructure Company, a consortium owned by eighteen banks including State Bank of India, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Yes Bank. IBDIC builds blockchain and emerging-technology infrastructure for trade finance, acting as an ecosystem orchestrator between institutions, trade professionals and trade fintechs. He took the role in April 2023 after three decades in Indian banking. He was previously Managing Director of SVC Bank, and before that spent many years at ICICI Bank, where he led internet banking, retail banking for Karnataka, and analytics and channel innovation. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and a postgraduate diploma in business administration from NMIMS.
